Project Objective

To design and deploy a responsive, user-friendly, and visually immersive website for a travel agency offering customizable tour packages across Himachal Pradesh and other regions in India. The primary goals were to improve booking conversion, increase lead generation, and enhance the digital brand experience.

Discovery & Research

Before beginning the design process, I conducted thorough research to understand both user needs and industry standards. I analyzed leading travel websites such as MakeMyTrip, Yatra, and Thrillophilia to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. I also created user personas to represent common traveler types and pinpointed their pain points when booking trips online. This discovery phase helped guide the structure, design choices, and key features of the website, ensuring the final product would be both user-centric and competitive.

  • Mobile responsiveness is critical, as over 70% of users browse on mobile.
  • Travelers prefer instant contact options like WhatsApp or click-to-call.
  • Filtering tour packages by location, price, or duration significantly improves user engagement.
